2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus, EU), which processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). When you visit the website, the server automatically records technical data: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, referrer URL, browser and operating system. We process this data to deliver the website securely and to detect misuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after a short period unless they are needed to investigate a security incident. Our hosting provider’s tools (including Hostinger Reach) may load scripts from Hostinger servers.
3. Contact form, e-mail and phone enquiries
When you send us an enquiry via the contact form, by e-mail or by phone, we process the data you provide – typically name, company, e-mail address, phone number and the content of your message – to answer your enquiry, prepare an offer and coordinate the project with our manufacturing partners.
Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Form submissions are stored in our website database and sent to our business mailbox.
Where your enquiry concerns a product or service delivered by one of our manufacturing partners in the EU, we pass on the information needed to prepare the offer or carry out the project to that partner. We do this only for that purpose.
We delete enquiry data once it is no longer needed, at the latest three years after our last contact, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. commercial and tax law) require longer storage.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use technically necessary cookies – for example to remember your chosen language (Polylang) and to keep logged-in editors signed in. These are based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and, where applicable, § 25(2) of the German TDDDG. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent (see section 5).
5. Google Analytics
With your consent we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, integrated via Google Site Kit. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyse how the website is used (e.g. pages visited, time on page, approximate location, device type). IP addresses are shortened by Google in the EU before storage.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
6. Google Fonts
To display fonts consistently, this website may load fonts from Google servers (Google Fonts, Google Ireland Limited). In doing so, your browser transmits your IP address to Google. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a uniform presentation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
7. Recipients and international transfers
We share personal data only with service providers who support us in operating the website and handling enquiries (hosting, e-mail), with manufacturing partners as described in section 3, and where we are legally obliged to do so. Transfers outside the EU/EEA only take place on the basis of an adequacy decision (such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. To exercise your rights, contact info@optipoint.eu.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – in Poland the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw), or the authority in your country of residence or place of work.
9. Further information
Providing your data is voluntary, but without it we cannot answer your enquiry. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. We may update this privacy policy when our website or legal requirements change; the current version is always available on this page.
