Foundations that are ready
the moment they are installed
Industrial screw piles for carports, PV, energy storage, modular buildings and containers – and mini ground screws for heat pumps, fences and small architecture. No excavation, no formwork, no curing time.
Which screw pile fits your project?
One foundation system – many applications
Choose your application. For manufacturers of carports, modular homes, BESS and containers we offer partner terms for recurring projects.
Solar carports & PV structures
Heavy-duty piles take high vertical and lateral loads of multi-bay carports and ground-mounted PV – a 50 kW carport foundation in one day.
Ø130BESS, containers & technical equipment
Foundations for containerised energy storage (~40 t), containers, power generators and masts – ready for assembly right after installation.
Ø90 / Ø130Modular homes & steel buildings
Light and medium steel buildings, modular and timber construction – with adjustable heads for precise levelling and tight tolerances.
Ø76 / Ø90Heat pumps, AC units & home batteries
Small ground screws with an adjustable frame – set by one person with an impact wrench, no concrete pad needed.
Mini + framePV fences & fencing
Fence posts and vertical PV fences on ground screws – fast, straight lines without concrete.
Mini / Ø76Cable routes & small infrastructure
Supports for cable trays and routes, signage and lighting – on uneven or sensitive ground.
Mini / Ø76Small architecture & outdoor structures
Pergolas, canopies, decks, playgrounds, bike shelters and greenhouses – a clean site without excavation.
MiniDecks & terraces
A deck foundation in half a day instead of a week with concrete – fully adjustable and correctable.

| Series | Typical applications | Key data | Installation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ø130 heavy-duty | Multi-bay carports, PV structures, arch buildings, noise barriers, heavy containerised structures | High stiffness, increased soil contact area; hot-dip galvanised head and top plate | Hydraulic rotary head, 8–12 kNm torque |
| Ø90 | Structures with increased loads, e.g. ~40 t energy storage containers | Ø88.9 mm, wall 5.0 mm, helix 200 mm; 4 head types | Machine installation |
| Ø76 | Lighter structures, modular and timber buildings, small and medium projects | Ø76 mm, wall 3.6 / 5.0 mm, helix 150 mm; 4 head types | Machine installation |
| Mini | Heat pumps, AC units, home batteries, decks, pergolas, fences, playgrounds | Ø26.9 mm, 750 / 1,000 / 1,250 mm; up to 410 / 480 / 550 kg in firm soil; S355, hot-dip galvanised, EN 1090 EXC2 | Impact wrench, 24 mm socket – self-assembly |
Application must always be verified against local soil conditions, design loads and applicable codes. Final selection is made by the designer or contractor.
Why builders switch to ground screws
Immediate readiness
Full load-bearing capacity right after installation – no waiting for concrete to cure.
Clean site
No excavation, soil disposal, formwork or concrete mixers – minimal impact on the surroundings.
Adjustable & correctable
Heads allow height and position adjustment; a misplaced screw can simply be unscrewed.
Any weather
Installation regardless of frost or rain – no temperature limits like wet concrete.
Frequently asked questions
What is a screw pile (ground screw)?
A steel pile with a helix that is screwed into the ground and transfers structural loads directly – without excavation or concrete. It reaches full load-bearing capacity immediately after installation.
How fast is installation?
Industrial piles are installed with a hydraulic rotary head at controlled torque (8–12 kNm for the Ø130 series). A 50 kW carport foundation can be completed in one day. Mini screws for heat pumps or decks are installed with an impact wrench – a deck foundation takes about half a day versus at least 7 days with concrete.
Can screw piles be removed or reused?
Yes. Ground screws are fully removable and relocatable – ideal for temporary structures, leased land and projects with a defined lifetime such as BESS or PV.
Which pile do I need?
It depends on the load, the structure and the soil. Heavy carports and PV use Ø130 piles, ~40 t energy storage units Ø90, lighter buildings Ø76 and residential applications Mini screws. Final selection is always verified against local soil conditions and design loads.
Are screw piles more sustainable than concrete?
Yes. They avoid excavation, soil disposal and wet concrete, keep the site clean and reduce the carbon footprint compared with concrete foundations.
Do you supply manufacturers of carports, modular homes or BESS?
Yes – that is one of our main focuses. Manufacturers integrate screw piles into their product offer and benefit from faster installation, removable foundations and repeatable parameters across projects.
